Privacy Policy
Privacy, without the fog.
This policy explains what Fundy Forge collects, why it is collected, and how to ask for a correction or deletion.
Who this applies to
This privacy policy applies to fundyforge.ca and inquiries sent to Fundy Forge, an independent digital studio based in Hampton, New Brunswick. Fundy Forge is the public trade name of Fundy Forge Digital Foundry, the registered business behind this site.
Information you choose to send
When you use the contact form or write directly, Fundy Forge may collect your name, email address, phone number if provided, business details, project notes, and any other information you include in the message.
That information is used to reply to you, understand the project, prepare proposals, deliver agreed work, and keep a practical record of the conversation.
How contact form information is handled
Contact form submissions are sent by email through Resend. That service processes the information needed to deliver the message.
A copy of your enquiry is also stored in Fundy Forge's client portal database, so that inquiries are not lost in an inbox and the conversation can be picked up properly. The site and the portal run on Cloudflare, the portal database is hosted with Neon, and the email is delivered by Resend. These providers process the information on Fundy Forge's behalf.
Those providers operate across a global network, so this information may be processed outside Canada, including in the United States. It is used only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than an automated script. To make that call, Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser during the check. It does not follow you around the web or build an advertising profile.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting platform may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser, device details, requested pages, and timestamps. This helps serve the site, protect it from abuse, and understand whether the site is working as expected.
Analytics and cookies
To understand how the site is used and where it can be improved, Fundy Forge uses Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager (which only coordinates these tools and does not collect data of its own). These measure things like which pages are visited, general location and device type, and aggregated actions such as button clicks and form submissions. Microsoft Clarity may also capture anonymized session replays and heatmaps of on-page activity, with text you type masked by default.
To do this, these tools set cookies (for example, cookies named _ga and _clck) and process basic technical information such as IP address. This data is used only to improve the site and its content. It is not sold, and the site does not set advertising cookies or include ad-retargeting scripts.
You can opt out at any time: install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or write to us and we will help. A short notice on the site points here so this is easy to find.
How information is shared
Fundy Forge does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when needed to run the website, send email, manage inquiries, deliver client work, comply with the law, or protect the business from misuse.
Retention
Inquiry and project information is kept only as long as it is useful for client communication, business records, legal obligations, and ongoing support. You can ask for outdated or unnecessary personal information to be corrected or deleted.
Your choices
You can ask what personal information Fundy Forge has about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion where deletion is practical and lawful. Write to hello [at] fundyforge.ca.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the site, tools, or business processes change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update.
